Karine DaSilva of Rio De Ja Neiro Brazil, and Avery ONeal (A-O), of Los Angeles Ca, were introduced through a mutual networking contact, mid summer 2010. After witnessing her connection with the audience, stunning look, and beautiful singing voice, as she hosted a karaoke contest in Glendale California; immediate actions were taken to bring her aboard the Mighty Records family. In the process of gaining Karines approval in terms of production, songwriting and overall musical direction; the foundation was solidified for Avery ONeal (a.k.a. Spliss), and Karine DaSilva to achieve greatness in the field of music and entertainment. Luis R. Garcia and Frank Garcia of Mighty Records gave the duo the thumbs up and immediately set the table for the collective talents to begin their studio project. As the very first recording session was scheduled, the combination of A-O (producer/songwriter/artist), and Karine DaSilva (songwriter/13yr vocalist/actress); hit the ground running at a break neck pace. First recording the hypnotic piece entitled C,est La Vie (Say-la-Vee). A laid back feel good song, promoting a peaceful atmosphere amongst party-goers. Following that session, the two recorded This is Love; an edgy look at love and relationships from both sides of the male/ female spectrum, which is a blend of R&B, Hip Hop, and Rock music. Afterwards and as expected, the group now known as The Pedestulz, kept true to their knack for creating songs that in the essence, delve into the rivers of different musical genres; by writing the story everyone can relate to in Alabi, and tip the sultry scale with their collaboration on the song Loose Control. Fused by their over-all drive to be recognized for making relatable, influential, and marketable music; through hard work and originality. The Pedestulz are quickly becoming a fan favorite, a hot topic for consumers and without a doubt one tough act to follow.

Karine Da Silva
Karine Da Silva was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to parents Ricardo and Claudia Da Silva. From a very early age Karine showed signs that she was a natural-born performer, entertaining the whole family with her hairbrush-turned-microphone and made-up choreography to popular songs. She indulged in anything pertaining to the performing arts; from school performances, to theatre classes, to dance troupes, to children's choirs, she enjoyed every second. But it wasn't until her family moved to California that Karine really delved into the world of the performing arts. She discovered musical theatre and became very active in several community theatre circles and youth theatre groups. She began taking private voice lessons and slowly merging her singing style with more contemporary music. After graduating from high school in Walnut Creek, CA, she moved to LA to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy of Hollywood to continue her musical theatre training. It was in Hollywood, on a night off from school, that Karine first discovered karaoke. Up until that point most of Karine's vocal training had been geared towards classical music and showtunes, but karaoke provided an outlet and an opportunity for her to sing pop, hip-hop, and R&B. It was love at first sight and after graduating from AMDA karaoke nights soon became a weekly ritual. In fact, it was because of karaoke that Karine was introduced to Avery O'Neal (A-O) and began a partnership that has now evolved into the up and coming hip-hop group known as The Pedestulz."

Born in Los Angeles California, Avery (A-O) O'Neal discovered his love for music at a young age. As his love for music grew, as did his interest in wanting to learn how to create this art form. As a boy, this push for creativity landed him at 32nd street U.S.C. Magnet, a performing arts school geared towards nurturing the wants and needs of students seeking to learn the Arts. As a result, he decided to participate in the schools music program where he learned to play such instruments as the clarinet, alto saxophone and the baritone saxophone; inducing inside of him not only a deeper love for music, but also a newly found respect for all genres of music. At the age of 22, his talent landed him a recording deal with the independent record label, Mighty Records. He featured on several recording artists such as, Kaotic Kaos, Dclare and Ello Eaze. His music production and song writing credits are extensive. Avery O'Neal (A-O), also referred to as Spliss, recorded his solo debut album in 2003 under the Mighty Records label. After a decade of experience working together with the Mighty Records team, A-O through a networking acquaintance was introduced to Karine DaSilva. With the obvious talent in hand, he decided to place most, if not all of his musical energy into working with the talented songstress on a project which soon came to become a group venture. Hence forth "The Pedestulz", were born. Through patience and perseverance, A-O has become one of the most intriguing talents to grace the music industry. He takes pride in his innate ability to convey the thoughts, feelings, and emotions of the average person through his portfolio of work as a recording artist, writer, and producer.
